Arts

The Learning Castle and La Canada Preparatory believe that the arts are not only a fundamental part of everyday life, but are also a key component of a complete education. The visual arts, singing and movement are part of the standard curriculum for students in transitional kindergarten through the third grade; and dance is a part of the physical education program for older students in addition to weekly classes in the visual arts.

Our younger students perform recitals throughout the school year, which include singing, reciting and dancing. Our older students have the opportunity to perform in our annual broadway musical held each spring.
